I wanted to visit the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts very much, and that's why I chose Dar Layali Fez as it is very close to the blue gate of the Medina. However, the friendly and helpful staff surprised me the most. They spoke Arabic, English, and French and were always available at the reception to assist. The restaurant, 24-hour front desk, and shared kitchen were also great features. Additionally, the free WiFi throughout the property was a big plus.

Our room was on the first floor near the restroom, so it wasn't quiet, especially when other guests were having breakfast early in the morning. Price could be lower.

The owner and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The location was close to the Medina and easy to access. The room was clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The owner went above and beyond to assist us with finding a repair shop for a flat tire. a fantastic stay and highly recommended.

Felt satisfied, no reason to complain.

I chose Dar Layali Fez because I wanted to visit the Medina of Fez, and it was conveniently close to the blue gate. The staff speaking Arabic, English and French pleasantly surprised me, and they were always on hand to help at the reception. The free WiFi throughout the property was also a great feature that I liked.

Location not amazing but suitable enough for major sites. Room size was cosy, and the shower room design allowed for noise from adjacent rooms.

During my stay at Dar Layali Fez, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. One specific incident stood out to me. I had a problem with the parking attendant who demanded additional payment even though I had already paid. The hotel receptionist quickly resolved the issue by confirming that my payment was indeed valid. Their prompt and efficient handling of the situation impressed me. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast provided was delicious. I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend Dar Layali Fez for its excellent service and amenities.

The stay was fantastic for 2 nights. The room had central heating, a safe box, and a multi-channel television. The bed was good, and the private bathroom was nice. The location was exceptional, right by the Blue Gate and the entrance of the Old Medina. It was in a really quiet area and within walking distance to Batha Square.

This riad is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. It offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. With its prime location, just a short walk from the Blue Gate, exploring the city is a breeze. The hospitality provided by Said and his team is phenomenal. They go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional, offering valuable recommendations for restaurants and travel tips. The riad offers secure parking for your hire car. They even took care of our luggage when we went on a desert trip. Every time we returned, we were greeted with refreshing mint tea. The homemade breakfast is a delightful treat, and the beds are comfortable, warm, and quiet. Thank you, Said, for showing us the best of the city. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

First, I have to say the breakfast was amazing - a delicious spread of traditional dishes that changed every morning. Secondly, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, arranging trips and taxis for us. As for the location, it was perfect - just a short walk to all the main attractions in the city. Plus, the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained.

Now, let's talk about the not-so-great parts. The room size was quite cozy, and the toilet was a bit cramped.

The hotel claims to be sustainable, but who knows if they actually do anything? They offer dry cleaning and business facilities, but who needs those on vacation? And they have room service and currency exchange, because who wants to leave their room and go outside?

I absolutely LOVED dealing with the parking guy, who claimed we didn't pay and caused a scene. Can't wait to go through that again!
